John (@johndavitt, www.newtools.org) is an inspired thinker, inventor, educator and empowerer of teachers. He is a champion of the TechMeet movement and for some reason is often seen wielding a stuffed camel while keeping teachmeet sessions to time. Tribal's Digital Learning Studio, based in Cambridge, is a hothouse of enthusiastic digital toolmakers, specialising in using technology to empower.
